New for the 2024-2025 school year, is the Wildcats Thread Clothing Closet. We are excited for the opportunity that this will provide students, their families, and members of the Billings community. The clothing closet has gently used clothing, shoes, and socks for our youngest students up to adults. There is no cost to our families and the Clothing Closet is completely confidential. Please contact Mrs. Biri; our district counselor, @ biris@billings.k12.mo.us. for more information. At the moment, we have some winter clothing out, but mostly summer/fall. We will be getting the winter items out soon.

Please join the Billings Schools for Open House on Thursday, August 15th from 6:00-7:00pm. Students will be able to meet their teachers, find their classrooms and collect FREE school supplies (including backpacks) that will be available to all students. JH/HS chromebooks will be distributed on the first day of school with completed registration paperwork. JH/HS registration paperwork can be turned in during Open House or on the first day of school. The Billings School will be dismissing at 2:00pm today, due to a timing update from the National Weather Service. Buses will run their regular routes home, but dismiss at 2:00 pm. If you wish to pick up your child, Mrs. Brandt will be here at the school until all students are picked up, and the FEMA Building will be open. We want to congratulate a few students on their accomplishments this past week.
Grant Heimer and Garrison Baker will be competing in the FBLA Nationals in June! Grant Heimer will be competing in the Spreadsheet Application category, while Garrison Baker will be competing in Banking and Financial Systems.
Additionally, Lancey-Joe Bellamy (along with another student from Pierce City) were in Anaheim, CA representing the entire SRTC Marketing program . They qualified for finals in the International Career Development Conference and by being finalists, they were in the top 20 in the world!
We are so proud of all of these students and their accomplishments in their programs!
JH/HS Scheduling, Dinner, and Fine Arts - Wednesday, May 1st! We are excited to present a packed "All in One" evening. Incoming 7th-12th graders will be going over schedules/courses for next year, seniors will be hosting a spaghetti fundraiser for project graduation and we will be enjoying the K-12 Art Show and Spring Band Concert. The City of Billings contacted us this afternoon with all clear test results. The Billings School will be open and back in session tomorrow, April 25, 2024. Additionally, we have flushed our local system here at the facility. Thank you for your understanding throughout this process!
The Billings School District will not be in session tomorrow, April 24th, due to the continuation of the City Boil Order Advisory. Test results will not be available until after 2 pm tomorrow. The boys basketball game scheduled for tonight with Verona has been canceled due to the weather. Additionally, the girls basketball game with Southwest has been canceled and moved to tomorrow night at Southwest. There will be no practices today.
The Billings School is not in session tomorrow per calendar. The Teacher Professional Development Day has been canceled. Billings students who attend SRTC classes will not be in session tomorrow, due to the weather forecast.
